Dear Shri Patil,

 

You are Guardian Minister for full Pune District. As such you are requested to shift your attention away from Kothrud, Kondhwa and Katraj to start looking at other areas of Pune which require urgent funds for development according to alignment of Development Plan 1987.

 

Not acquiring these 15 land parcels although these are part of DP 1987, is leading to unnecessary bottlenecks and traffic jams. I have been pursuing this issue with top officers since 2019 but have had no success at all with Pune and State administration.  Now it is to be seen if this demand to Hon’ble Guardian Minister with copy to Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister will get results.

 

Vide reply dated 2nd July 2019 to application under RTI Act 2005, the amount for acquisition was about Rs. 622 crores (attached).

 

Vide reply dated 20th June 2022, the amount remained same i.e. Rs. 622 crores (attached).

Vide reply dated 10th Aug 2023, the amount had skyrocketed to about Rs. 916 crores (attached).

 

So it is very important to note that in this nexus only the land-owners benefit during the waiting game as the land cost skyrockets, while the citizens are inconvenienced and traumatised because of these bottle necks. And the administration at PMC and State Govt does not discharge it’s duty to acquire

land despite 5 year long relentless follow-ups.

 

Attached is also the list with detailed survey number / plot number / name of all the 15 land parcels along with some communication.

 

Now it is to be seen if the Hon’ble Guardian Minister wants to do something to start the process to obtain funds from State Govt, as PMC claims it is always broke. Or contact us if our demand is not understood.

 

Or whether Hon'ble Guardian Minister will ignore our demand
